What was that name of the island with all the women in Greek Mythology?

Was it something with a "D"?

I'm watching something about Jason and the Golden Fleece and forgot where the nymphs were and on what island.

Respond back, please!

What was that name of the island with all the women in Greek Mythology?
Lesbos
Reply:Is that Lesbos?
Reply:^lol Close. The island is Lemnos
Reply:Lemnos not Lesbos.

Some people above are confusing the two.

Lemnos is just off the coast of Thessaly. Lesbos is further east off the Mysian (Turkish) coast.
Reply:lol... yes, it is Lemnos.

According to a Hellenic legend, the women were all deserted by their husbands for Thracian women, and in revenge they murdered every man on the island.
Reply:jason landed on the island f lemnos but i think you are confusing jason with ulysses and his travels.
Reply:Lesbos was a female occupied Island from which we get the name Lesbian. It is still a much used holiday destination.

The Amazons in myth were a colony of women on the Greek coast. It is thought they were based on a real community of cloth dyers.

One of the key ingredients to the ancient dying methods was urine. Also some of the other components had adverse effects on the skin.

most of the men were seafarers and naturally found the womens appearance and odour offensive and repellent; consequently relations broke down between the men and women; the image and reputation of the women became legendary.
Reply:i think it was Amazonian i am not sure though
