marianthi is of course greek. it is the union of two names, maria (the name of virgin mary in greek) and anthi (flowers). we unite names like this in general here in greece.

(example:marianna=maria+anna)

What does the greek name Mirianthi mean?
HE WILL COME AGAIN
Reply:No, sorry I could'nt help.
Reply:Mirianthi is not greek; it is the greek equivalent. λουλούδι is greek and means flower.
Reply:Its actually Marianthi. Means "Flower" in Greek.
Reply:A contraction for Mirian the?
Reply:that was my grandmothers name

myrianthi is a greek name 100%

myria = thousand, anthi = flowers, (girl)

about the other answers : louloudia is not a greek word, the greek word for flower is anthos.

maria is not a greek name, and marianthi is a different name that means maria and flowers

both of those words are in the greek language though.

  1. My name is Marianthe and from what my father has told me about my name is that anthi also means to blossom AND that it may hold the meaning of flowers but not in modern times. So I would use both in that context and say my name means Blossoming Flower, because I know for a fact that louloudi/louloudia ARE greek words.
