What do you think of this Greek name sib-set?

Demetria Athene

Lysander Demetrius

Julian Apollo

Penelope Cassandra

thanks! =)

What do you think of this Greek name sib-set?
Nothing stands out like a sore thumb, but since we're naming Greek, I would advise you to check the meanings. As a Christian, I wouldn't name my baby after a greek god or goddess.

How about Alethea (truth)?

Reply:I love Demetria, it's cute for a little girl, as well as sophisticated for an adult. Nickname-Demi? I like Athene too, but spelled Athena. I'm not such a big fan of Lysander, but Demetrius is nice too, very masculine. I like the name Julian, it's very cute. Apollo seems too much like a god, I think any kid would have a tough time having that name. Penelope is cute, and way underused. I'm not sure if people think that it's an old name, or that it's not sophisticated, but I think it's cute. I also like Cassandra, nickname-Cassie?

Good choices :)
Reply:The first three sound good, but I don't like the last combination. Although I love the sound of the name Penelope, it means "with a web over her face" and Cassandra means "she who entangles men". Maybe the meanings of names don't matter to you, but that is always something I check.

Btw, Apollo means 'destroyer.'

Good luck! :o)
Reply:I like Julian Apollo and Demetria Athene the best, though Penelope Cassandra is cute (I think I prefer it flipped around -- Cassandra Penelope). Not a huge fan of Lysander, Demetrius is okay though. =)
Reply:aome of them are suuuuuper loooong.

i really like julian apollo though.
Reply:Not a fan of the Penelope in there....the others are very exotic and pretty...but Penelope just kinda brought it down!
Reply:it sounds alright
Reply:Well i think all of dem r barbaric names...........
