What's the greek/latin name for word lover ( . . .phile)?

An audiophile is one who loves sound/music. What's the name of a word lover. I know I've heard it, but am drawing a blank.

What's the greek/latin name for word lover ( . . .phile)?
Well, I am one!

The word is philologist:

- from Greek philologi, from philologos, fond of learning or of words : philo-, philo- + logos, reason, speech;

- Latin philologia.

"Logos" has many meanings ranging from 'Words' to 'Ideas' or even 'Form' itself. Plato uses the adjective "philologos" meaning 'fond of conversation', or of Socrates as 'loving talking, fond of discussion and dialog'. Hellenistic and Latin authors like Cicero tend to think of Philology as 'a love of learning', especially 'love of literature' the good things inherited from an ancient and highly respectable Greek culture.
Reply:In Latin, "to love" is "amare". "I love" is "amo".

"Lover" is "amans"

I don't know about Greek.
