What is the name of the ancient Greek who wrote a group of fables?
What amazing stories - they're still so popular after all these centuries. Even more amazing was the man who wrote them - an ugly, stuttering, enslaved, hunchbacked dwarf.

Reply:Aesop
Reply:Aesop. He was born a slave but his stories with their lessons (morals) brought him to the attention of high place officials. He became an advisor to his master. He died during an attack while on a diplomatic mission for his country.
Reply:yes it is.
Reply:Yes. Aesop was a slave who had a cunning grasp on human foibles from his observations of the well to do in their houses which he served. He turned this skill into an oral collection that was collected and given full credit to him, a true rarity at the time.
