I want to get it as a tattoo I just dont want to get the wrong thing.
How do you spell my name in Greek? Althea?
Ιts Αλθαία :)
Reply:ALTHEA
Gender: Feminine
Usage: Greek Mythology (Latinized)
From the Greek name Αλθαια (Althaia), perhaps related to Greek αλθος (althos) "healing". In Greek myth she was the mother of Meleager. Soon after her son was born she was told that he would die as soon as a piece of wood that was burning on her fire was fully consumed. She immediately extinguished the piece of wood and sealed it in a chest, but in a fit of rage many years later she took it out and set it alight, thereby killing her son.

Best ask a Greek native. I'd be really carefull about getting something tattooed in a language you do not speak. Especially one that doesn't use Latin characters.
edit: Alpha, lambda, theta, eta, alpha would be: Αλθηα

Reply:I can't type in a Greek font, but it's Alpha, lambda, theta, eta, alpha.
